Frequently asked questions
We recommend tanning 1-2 day before the event.
Brides, we highly recommend a trial several weeks before the actual wedding to make sure We perfect the color for your special day. We love that you trust us, but week of your wedding is NOT the time to try a spray tan, especially if you have never had one. We do recommend the Clean and Clear solution for brides since you will be in a white gown. Bronzers can tend to stay on the skin 2-3 days and run the risk of rubbing off on you dress, Our clear solution has no bronzers so no risk!
If you follow our pre and post care recommendations: 5-7 days. We do recommend tan extender lotions which help extend your color 2-3 more days. Lifestyle and skin care also determine how long the tan will last.
With traditional solutions 8-12 hours, *Rapids 1-4 hours. Rapid solutions still take 8-12 hours to develop, you just don’t wear the solutions as long as traditional solutions. We do find that rapid tan life does not wear as long as the traditional solutions can. Skin care and tan extender lotions are highly recommend to lengthen the life of all of our tans
Not while wearing your tanning solution. Sweat and frequent showers can decrease the life of your tan and also leave faux tan life from excessive swearing and rubbing. We recommend waiting a full 24 hours, as your tan continues to develop this long. We understand if you can’t, your color might not develop as deep but will still look great!
Every one is different in their comfort level, so we have seen everything from swimming suits, to old bras and underwear. We provide all FDA recommended protection like disposable underwear and thongs. *Please not anyone under 18 is required to wear underwear and a bra unless parent is present during the spray tan.
Traditional Solutions you wear 8-12 hours before rinsing. You can not sweat or get wet while wearing your solution. It does have cosmetic bronzers, so you leave instantly tan. Those bronzers will wash off in the shower during your rinse as they are only topical and for cosmetic purposes. Rapid Solutions are a shorter wear time, 1-4 hours. They also have cosmetic bronzers that will wash of during your first rinse. You tan will still take 8-12 to appear, you just don’t have to wear them as long. Our Clear solution is an 8-12 hour wear time. It has NO cosmetic Bronzers, so you will not see a tan right aways. Yes, it is best to try and exfoliate as much of the old tan off as possible. It will give the best chance of an even application. It is worth noting that it's best to spray tan on bare skin, if you already have a tan on, you may not achieve the maximum tan you want. Lots of our clients do tan every week, ask your artist what are the best products to prolong and pre your skin for the best results.
We do send you a detailed email of all your prep and post care with your appointment confirmation. If you cant find it, check your spam folder. We also have all the details listed on our Instagram if you find that easier to locate.

Ask your artist how to make your tan last 2 weeks with post care products, those who take care of the tan and use a tan extender get every bit of 2 weeks from their tan!
Your Spray tan should be last, we always say we cover the most service so save the best for last. Hair, nails, facials, waxing act, shoals all be done at minimum 24 hours before your tan. All these beauty treatments use creams and chemicals that can cause a barrier to your skin and potentially affecting the development and color of your tan. If treatments can not be avoided prior to your spray tan, let your Artist know and we can help, but we have to know what we are working with. Skin never lies, your artist will be able to tell if you have lotions on.
Yes, we do recommend that all FDA recomendations are followed to protect you. That means that we cover all membranes with disposable undies, nose filters and eye coverings, which we provide. If you have more questions, its always best to speak with your provider.
We know your Ink is expensive and we understand that there is a 2-4 week heal time. Its best to wait till your tattoo is healed first. If your just obsessed with being tan, we understand, we will have you cover the artwork completely before we spray tan.
We get this issue a lot, especially with our Brides. Never fear, we can help! We can't not guarantee complete elimination of that tans lines, it really depends on the difference in Melanin shades, some clients won't ever see that tan line and some might have a slight line left, again it all depends on the degree of tan line we are correcting.
NO! even if you burned 2 months ago, your spray tan may or may not develop. When you burn, your skin peels. If we tan over a sunburn, trust us, its not good. If your planning to Spray Tan for an event or Trip, make sure not to burn your skin before you see us, SPF is always a must with and without a spray tan!
